IT Inside Sales Specialist
Location: San Diego Regional Office (In office work, not work from home)
Salary: Combination of hourly base and commission targeting $75,000+- per year, depending on performance.
- Flexible Monday- Friday 8AM – 5PM
- FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
- Reports to Sales Manager
The Inside Sales Specialist will act as an ambassador to prospective clients, reaching out to new prospects, communicating the services and results SpotLink can deliver, and scheduling first-time appointments with the sales manager, as well as sometimes attending those appointments. This Inside Sales Specialist will be persistent, organized, driven and consistently follow up with prospects. They will maintain SpotLink’s prospect database, organize new leads, and propose new and innovative approaches to reach prospects. This position requires a person who works well in a self-managed, self-directed environment, but is also prepared to thoughtfully share ideas, progress, and results with the management team. The position requires the ability to make cold phone calls, email blasts, and online communication to schedule meetings with prospects.
- Maintain/update leads in CRM system.
- Cultivate new leads.
- Update prospect classification based on communications.
- Schedule and attend first time appointments.
- Work under the general direction of the sales manager.
Qualifications & Skills
Three years of experience in a sales role, preferably for a technology company or Managed Service
Excellent communications skills.
Strong computer skills.
Experience with targeted cold calling.
Experience with sales management tools.
College degree in business or related field is a plus.
Ability to work in an office setting, including sitting for long periods of time, lifting, bending.
Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for occasional sales meetings.
